Verishop Social E-Commerce Section Goes Online
Recently, e-commerce app Verishop has announced that the company will enter the social e-commerce market by introducing social sharing feature on its apps. After the update, Verishop will allow users to upload and share photos and videos with brands, and users will also be able to add product tags to their Shared content.
Verishop says the app’s new social section includes the following features:
1. User-generated content (UGC), such as videos and photos.
2. The following feature named “Following” will allow users to continuously follow and share information published by a brand on the platform.

3. A collection feature, named “Collections”, which will allow users to save products to their own collections, and share them with other friends.
4. “For You” and “Following” in the push section will include personalized product recommendation generated based on users’ product preference, which can be manually turned off.
5. Product labelling function. Users can mark products in posts.
Verishop says its users are mainly young people under 35 who like to browse and share products on the platform. At present, the platform has about 1,000 brand owners.
